Dakota Starry Night provides a reflection of life on the reservation as told through the lens of a Dakota Artist and educator. Forced to look within to heal from boarding school abuse, Beheler found his path and purpose in a paintbrush.

Beheler shares the analogy between Indian Country and Van Gogh, who was never celebrated until it was too late. "Our greatest gift to mankind is our relationship with Mother Earth and the Universe, unfortunately, society chooses to kill the Indian and ignore the Man."

Welcome to the world of an indigenous artist and educator who chose the road of traditional ceremony and brotherly love to conquer alcohol and adverse childhood experiences.
